Imposing London School
Built in the 1800’s, this independent school’s focal point was to modernise, improve security and save money on heating. Due to their age, the original windows were unacceptable for a school, as the timber sashes were rotting, making them both unstable and impractical.
After extensive research, the client agreed Roseview could achieve exactly what they were looking for with the added benefits of preserving historic value of the building. It was the ideal option.
Following this, Ultimate Rose was chosen as the ideal model, as it can be manufactured with PAS 24 and Part Q, providing enhanced security. As well as this, due to improved insulation, the cost of heating decreased dramatically, enabling funding elsewhere for the students. Some other notable points are the fact our Ultimate Rose can be customised to have limit stops making it safe for the pupils as well as a double tilt feature, permitting simple cleaning and access to the outside of windows.
The final result meant the school would benefit for decades to come and increase funds for student rescources, all while being sensitive to their surroundings.
