Not only needing new windows in a conservation area but also requiring true and raked arches, this refurbishment turned to the Rose Collection and the Ultimate Rose for the right solution.
The building’s historical significance and conservation area status made it essential to preserve its authentic appearance while meeting modern performance standards. The Ultimate Rose was chosen for its ability to replicate the aesthetic features of the original arched sash windows while providing the benefits of modern uPVC, making it the ideal solution for the project.
The bespoke windows featured both true and raked arches with custom Georgian style astragal bars and no horns, replicating the original design. A white woodgrain finish completed the traditional timber look, seamlessly blending with the building’s heritage.
With a wide range of customisation options, the Ultimate Rose ensured the windows met conservation area requirements while complementing the surrounding architecture. Even from street level, the uPVC windows are virtually indistinguishable from timber.
